Our inspectors follow a published standard of practice and this code of ethics on every inspection.
Independence
- We never perform repairs or recommend our own services to correct issues found during an inspection.
- We do not pay or accept referral fees, commissions or incentives from agents, contractors or anyone else involved in the sale.
- We inspect properties in which we have no financial interest.
Honesty
- We report what we observe, clearly and without exaggeration.
- We do not alter findings to help or hinder a sale.
- We perform only the inspections we are qualified and licensed to perform.
Confidentiality
- Your report belongs to you. We share it only with the people you authorise.
Professionalism
- We keep our licences, insurance and continuing education current.
- We treat every property with care and leave it as we found it.
